- The U.S. Supreme Court has committed a grave injustice in
- allowing capital punishment for 16- and 17-year-olds (LAW, July
- 10). Now the state is able to take the lives of people who,
- because of age, cannot vote or affect the state's actions. It
- is execution without representation.

- This ruling is not barbaric, as bleeding-heart liberals
- insist. If these teenagers have the means, the capacity, the
- perversion, the insensitivity and the physical ability to commit
- gruesome murders, why should they evade punishment on the basis
- of their age?
