  3.     The U.S. Supreme Court has committed a grave injustice in
  4. allowing capital punishment for 16- and 17-year-olds (LAW, July
  5. 10). Now the state is able to take the lives of people who,
  6. because of age, cannot vote or affect the state's actions. It
  7. is execution without representation.

  11.     This ruling is not barbaric, as bleeding-heart liberals
  12. insist. If these teenagers have the means, the capacity, the
  13. perversion, the insensitivity and the physical ability to commit
  14. gruesome murders, why should they evade punishment on the basis
  15. of their age?
